Gear questions?

Bring your own bike, horse, or hiking gear for the Mobile Workshop you select on Saturday. Kayaks are provided. Yes, there’s a rain plan just in case. Tip: if you bring a bike, there’s a bike rack in the parking garage of Hilton Garden Inn, but the deck ceiling is low. Please unload in the hotel courtyard.

Meals? We’ve got you covered

Registration includes breakfast on Friday and Saturday, and lunch and dinner on Friday. Saturday lunch is on you.

Parties? Yep…

Plan to stay for a great party Friday, April 11 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at New Earth Music Hall with free goodies from Athens merchants – delicious savory and sweet crepes, locally-brewed Terrapin Recreation Ale and cans of coffee from Jittery Joe’s. Enjoy live music there later on, or explore our list of other recommended music venues (in the program). Admission is free with your Georgia Trail Summit badge.
If you’re in town on Thursday, take a free UGA campus shuttle from the Hilton Garden Inn to the Georgia Museum of Art welcome reception for The Benefit Art Exhibit and Sale: Celebrating Healthy Habits through Art – featuring work by UGA students. The event is 5:00 to 8:00 pm, hosted by the Public Health Association of UGA, Walton Wellness and Georgia River Network. Complimentary wine and appetizers.
